Information We Collect

PetPing collects the information needed to run the app and keep your pet care data available to you.

• Account information: your user ID, email address, display name, and sign-in provider details when you create an account or use Sign in with Apple.
• Pet care content: pet profiles, reminders, notes, weights, calendar items, notification preferences, and photos you choose to add.
• Purchase information: subscription status, product identifiers, renewal status, and related purchase metadata handled through Apple and RevenueCat.
• Device and app information: device identifiers, app version, diagnostic logs, crash reports, analytics events, and basic performance information used to keep PetPing reliable.
• Notifications: reminder times and notification settings used to schedule alerts on your device.

How We Use Information

• Provide reminders, calendar planning, pet profiles, notes, trends, and other app features.
• Sync and back up your data when you sign in and enable cloud features.
• Process subscriptions, unlock paid features, and restore purchases.
• Send local or system notifications you choose to enable.
• Improve app reliability, diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and understand feature usage.
• Respond to support requests and account deletion requests.

Cloud Sync and Local Data

You can use PetPing in offline or guest mode, where data is stored on your device. If you sign in or use cloud sync, PetPing stores your pet care content in Firebase services so it can be backed up and synced across devices.

Some settings and notification preferences may be stored locally on your device using system storage.

Third-Party Services

PetPing uses trusted service providers to operate core app features:

• Firebase: authentication, cloud database, storage, analytics, crash reporting, and app integrity checks.
• RevenueCat: subscription management, purchase status, and entitlement syncing.
• Apple: App Store purchases, Sign in with Apple, and device notification services.

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and only as needed to provide their services to PetPing.

Sharing

PetPing does not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising tracking. We may share information with service providers listed above, when required by law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Retention and Deletion

PetPing keeps your information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You can delete your account from the app settings. Account deletion removes cloud account data associated with your PetPing account and clears local app data from the device after the deletion process completes. Some records, such as purchase history handled by Apple or RevenueCat, may be retained as required for billing, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal purposes.

Your Choices

• You can edit or delete pets, reminders, notes, and other pet care content in the app.
• You can enable or disable notifications in PetPing settings and iOS Settings.
• You can use guest mode if you do not want cloud sync.
• You can request account deletion from the app settings.
• You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Children

PetPing is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Use

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on this website.
